Welcome to Hampreston

Hampreston is a small village located in the county of Dorset, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles north of the coastal town of Bournemouth and 3 miles south of the market town of Wimborne. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is home to a number of historic buildings and landmarks, including the Grade II listed St. Thomas' Church, which dates back to the 13th century.

The village of Hampreston has a rich history, with evidence of human settlement dating back to the Bronze Age. The area was once part of a large estate owned by the Earl of Shaftesbury, and many of the buildings in the village were constructed using local stone quarried from the nearby River Stour. Today, Hampreston is a peaceful and picturesque village, with a strong sense of community and a range of amenities, including a village hall, a pub, and a primary school.
