Welcome to Milden

Milden is a small village located in the county of Suffolk, England. It is situated approximately 10 miles southwest of the town of Sudbury and 20 miles northwest of the city of Colchester. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is home to a number of historic buildings, including the 12th-century St. Peter's Church and the Grade II listed Milden Hall.

The village of Milden has a rich history dating back to the medieval period. The Domesday Book of 1086 records the village as "Mildene" and notes that it was owned by the Bishop of Bayeux. Over the centuries, the village has been home to a number of notable figures, including the poet and playwright Christopher Marlowe, who is believed to have been born in nearby Canterbury but spent some time in Milden during his childhood.
