Ketley is a small village located in the county of Shropshire, England. It is situated approximately 2 miles east of Telford town centre and is part of the Telford and Wrekin borough. The village has a rich history dating back to the 12th century when it was known as Keteleia. It was once a thriving mining community and was home to several coal mines, including the Ketley Pit, which was one of the largest in the area.

Today, Ketley is a quiet residential area with a population of around 5,000 people. It has a range of amenities including a primary school, a community centre, a post office, and several shops and pubs. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is a popular destination for walkers and cyclists.
