Cropwell Bishop is a small village located in the Rushcliffe district of Nottinghamshire, England. The village is situated approximately 8 miles east of Nottingham and has a population of around 2,000 people. Cropwell Bishop is known for its production of Stilton cheese, which has been made in the village since the 18th century. The village is also home to a number of historic buildings, including St Giles' Church, which dates back to the 13th century.

One of the main attractions in Cropwell Bishop is the Cropwell Bishop Creamery, which produces some of the finest Stilton cheese in the world. The creamery has been in operation since 1947 and is one of only six creameries in the world that are licensed to produce Stilton cheese. Visitors to the creamery can take a tour of the facilities and learn about the history and production of Stilton cheese. The creamery also has a shop where visitors can purchase a variety of cheeses, as well as other local products.

Cropwell Bishop is also home to a number of other attractions, including the Cropwell Bishop Windmill, which dates back to the early 19th century. The windmill is one of the few remaining windmills in Nottinghamshire and is open to visitors during the summer months. The village also has a number of pubs and restaurants, including the Plough Inn, which serves traditional English food and is popular with locals and visitors alike. If You Like Mixing A Walk With History, Try Belvoir Castle. A Gorgeous Castle With Grounds. Dogs Are Not Allowed In The Castle But They Are Allowed In The Grounds And Landscaped Gardens.
