Withnell is a small village located in the county of Lancashire, England. It is situated on the outskirts of the town of Chorley and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village has a rich history dating back to the 12th century when it was first mentioned in historical records. Withnell has a population of around 1,500 people and is known for its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.

One of the main attractions in Withnell is the Withnell Fold Nature Reserve. This beautiful reserve covers over 20 hectares of land and is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Visitors can enjoy walking along the many trails that wind through the reserve, taking in the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The reserve is also home to a number of rare and endangered species, including the great crested newt and the red squirrel.

Another popular attraction in Withnell is the Withnell Car Boot Sale. This weekly event takes place every Sunday and is a great place to find bargains and unique items. The car boot sale attracts visitors from all over the region and is a great way to spend a Sunday morning. Withnell also has a number of local pubs and restaurants, offering visitors a chance to sample some of the region's finest cuisine.
