Helmshore is a small village located in the Rossendale district of Lancashire, England. The village is situated on the River Ogden and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Helmshore is known for its rich history and heritage, which is evident in the many historic buildings and landmarks that can be found throughout the village.

One of the most notable landmarks in Helmshore is the Helmshore Mills Textile Museum. The museum is housed in two historic mills that were once used for cotton spinning and weaving. The hill is also home to the Peel Tower, a historic monument that was built in memory of Sir Robert Peel, a former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
