Welcome to Goosnargh

Goosnargh is a small village located in the county of Lancashire, England. It is situated approximately 6 miles north of the city of Preston and is known for its picturesque countryside and historic buildings. The village has a population of around 2,000 people and is surrounded by farmland and rolling hills.

One of the most notable landmarks in Goosnargh is St. Mary's Church, which dates back to the 14th century. The church is built in the Gothic style and features a tower that is over 100 feet tall. Inside, visitors can see a number of interesting features, including a 15th-century font and a stained glass window that was designed by the famous artist Edward Burne-Jones.

In addition to its historic buildings, Goosnargh is also known for its food. The village is home to a number of award-winning restaurants and pubs, many of which serve traditional Lancashire dishes such as hotpot and black pudding. The area is also famous for its cheese, with the Goosnargh Cheese Company producing a range of artisan cheeses that are sold throughout the UK.
