Godmersham is a small village located in the county of Kent, England. It is situated approximately six miles south-west of the city of Canterbury and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village is known for its historic buildings, including the Grade II listed Godmersham Park House, which was once the home of Jane Austen's brother, Edward Austen Knight. The house is now privately owned and not open to the public, but the surrounding parkland is open for visitors to enjoy.

One of the main attractions in Godmersham is the St. Lawrence Church, which dates back to the 12th century.
