Wotton Underwood is a small village located in the Aylesbury Vale district of Buckinghamshire, England. The village is situated on the northern edge of the Chiltern Hills and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village has a rich history dating back to the 11th century when it was mentioned in the Domesday Book. The village has a population of around 300 people and is known for its picturesque cottages, historic church, and beautiful countryside.

One of the main attractions in Wotton Underwood is the St. Mary the Virgin Church. The church dates back to the 12th century and is a Grade I listed building. The church has a beautiful Norman doorway, a 13th-century font, and a 15th-century rood screen. The church is also home to a number of interesting monuments and memorials, including a memorial to Sir Francis Dashwood, who was a prominent politician and founder of the Hellfire Club.

Another popular attraction in Wotton Underwood is the Dashwood Mausoleum. The mausoleum is located on a hill overlooking the village and was built in the 1760s by Sir Francis Dashwood. The mausoleum is a Grade II* listed building and is considered to be one of the finest examples of neo-classical architecture in England. The mausoleum is open to the public on certain days of the year and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
